Budget and Facility Planning Committee
The purpose of the Budget Committee meeting is to review and prioritize proposed unbudgeted expenditure requests and identify and prioritize staffing needs for management and classified staff positions.
Current topics at the Budget Committee meeting include budget updates, review funding requests for instructional supplies and equipment, and position prioritization.

Curriculum Committee
The purpose of the Curriculum Committee meeting is to review and approve new and revised courses and programs. The group provides the originators with feedback for the sake of clarity and quality.

Institutional Effectiveness Committee
The purpose of the Institutional Effectiveness Committee (IEC) is to review and develop policies for institutional effectiveness, institutional data, research, evaluation, program review, noncredit metrics/KPIs.
Current topics at the IEC meeting include institutional effectiveness, MIS noncredit specific elements, surveys intended to be distributed out to NOCE students and staff, Departmental Planning, and WASC accreditation data needs.

Professional Development Committee
The NOCE Professional Development Committee (ProD) is a shared governance committee that oversees and directs the professional development activities of the school as well as approves applications for individual funding requests to support professional development for Classified employees and faculty. Current topics include increasing opportunities for Classified professional development, continuing to support the school’s DEIAA efforts, and providing professional development activities on the SLO cycle, including writing and assessing SLOs.
Current topics at the Professional Development Committee meeting include classified technology needs, faculty development seminar series, and professional development needs assessment for ongoing training opportunities for faculty and staff.

President’s Cabinet
The purpose of the President’s Cabinet meeting is to provide a platform for the leadership of NOCE’s constituencies to focus on long-range planning and growth, a forum for innovation, and a venue for collaborative problem-solving.
Current topics at the President’s Cabinet meeting: strategic plan implementation, accreditation planning, Guided Pathways, staffing structure, Universal Design, more.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism/Accessibility (DEIA)
Purpose: The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Antiracism (DEIA) Committee at NOCE will set the foundation and accountability framework for the integration of diversity, equity, inclusion, and antiracism into all aspects of NOCE’s institutional culture.  
The NOCE DEIA Committee is responsible for championing continuing progress of NOCE DEIA initiatives with the goal of transforming NOCE into an equity-minded institution, recognizing that truly effective equity and diversity work is never finished. The Committee will ensure that equity, diversity, and antiracist actions are closely aligned with, embedded, and implemented in the NOCE Strategic Plan. 

Current topics: Promote and Support future heritage months – involve students, faculty, and staff to increase cultural knowledge, awareness, value, and empathy.
Applying a Diversity lens in hiring practices.

Student Equity and Achievement Program (SEA Program)
The purpose of the SEA Program Committee is to review, discuss, plan, and implement goals and strategies that impact student success and equity.
Current topics at the SEA Program Committee is a committee that focuses on issues related to the implementation of core SEA Program services, provides leadership for the development and recommendations for implementation of the Student Equity and Guided Pathways Scale of Adoption Plans. The committee makes recommendations for allocating SEA and other funds that impact this work based on data and activity evaluation to meet Student Equity and Guided Pathways Scale of Adoption Plan goals.

Accessibility Advisory Workgroup
The purpose of the NOCE Accessibility Workgroup is responsible for reviewing issues related to accessibility, develop a plan to make NOCE a more accessible institution, and provide oversight and consultation for the implementation of the plan. The workgroup examines all aspects of accessibility such as technology, instructional materials, training, the overlap between accessibility and accommodation, universal design for learning (UDL), alternate media, purchasing, information, and communications technology (ICT), best practices, board policies and procedures, job descriptions, and campus committees and workgroups.
Current topics at the Accessibility Workgroup meeting include developing the NOCE Accessibility Plan, discussion of policies and procedures, and school-wide training on accessibility topics.

The purpose: The AC Sustainability Committee plans, implements, coordinates, and monitors sustainability efforts across the Anaheim Campus. The committee will forward all recommendations to President’s Cabinet and take the lead in creating and implementing a campus Sustainability Plan.

Pandemic Response Team – Tier 1
The purpose of the Pandemic Response Team – Tier 1 discusses and makes institutional plans/decisions about how to implement the most effective response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Tier 1 is the executive-level administrative team of the institution.
Current topics include effectively opening and maintaining safe campuses and the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

Pandemic Response Team – Tier 2
The purpose of the Pandemic Response Team – Tier 2 is a workgroup that plans and implements the most effective response to the COVID-19 pandemic by including and considering all operational and constituent groups of the campus in developing campus policies procedures, and action steps to prevent the spread of the virus while protecting the health and safety of the campus community.
Current topics include safe reopening procedures, procurement of PPE, facility requirements for in-person offerings, and work assignments and reporting procedures.

Program Planning and Review Panel
The purpose of the Program Planning and Program Review Panel will be established on a rotational yearly basis. The panel is co-chaired between the Director of Institutional Research and Planning and an NOCE faculty member and will recruit yearly NOCE staff to serve in one of the four stakeholder positions: Manager, Classified, Student, and Faculty. The panel will provide the President’s Cabinet with an overview of the process and a summary of feedback will be provided to participating units. Panelists will participate in structured trainings and will meet on a monthly basis in the academic year.
