We are excited to launch our 2022 Fall Semester registration beginning July 26, 2022. We are excited to safely welcome you to campus! In preparation for students accessing on-campus services and in-person fall classes, we want to make sure our students are in compliance with the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

At their August 24, 2021 meeting, the North Orange County Community College District’s Board of Trustees approved a COVID-19 vaccination requirement for all employees and students who attend in-person classes, labs, and learning centers for the health and safety of its students, employees, and visitors.

All students who come on-campus for in-person classes or services must be fully vaccinated or have an approved medical or religious exemption.  Students can upload their vaccination record or apply for an exemption in the myGateway portal.  Students must upload their proof of vaccination or have an approved exemption in myGateway by August 15, 2022 to be in compliance with the vaccine mandate.

How to Upload Your Vaccine Record

How to Apply for a Vaccine Exemption

Fully vaccinated is defined as:

  • Two weeks after you get a second dose of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine OR
  • Two weeks after you get a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine

Students that have an approved medical or religious exemption must participate in weekly COVID-19 testing. This testing is free for students at their respective campuses. For campus locations and hours, visit “How and Where to Get Tested” on the NOCE vaccine webpage.

Booster shots are not mandatory for students, though the CDC does recommend booster shots for those who are eligible. In addition, masks are no longer required while indoors. As of June 1, 2022, NOCCCD strongly recommends wearing masks while on-site in order to protect themselves and others.
