If you see one of these error messages when trying to register or log into MyGateway, here’s what it means and who you can talk to for help.
Registration Errors
| Error Message | What It Means: |
|---|---|
| Closed – Waitlisted | You can add yourself to the class’s waitlist. How to Add Yourself to the Waitlist. |
| Closed – Full | The course and waitlist are full. Refer to the schedule for other course options. |
| Cohort Restriction | Online Orientation is NOT complete. How to Complete the Orientation. |
| Program Restriction | Call the StarHelp line for assistance at (714) 808-4679 or starhelp@noce.edu. |
| Time Ticket Error | You might have picked the wrong term, like Fall 2025 instead of NOCE Fall 2025. Please make sure you choose the right NOCE term. |
| Prerequisite Error | You haven’t met the needed requirements for the course. If you’re not sure whether you qualify, please contact the Counseling Department at (714) 808-4682 or email counseling@noce.edu. |
| Corequisite Error | You have to take both classes at the same time. You need to register for both together. |
| Holds which prevent registration | You can’t register because there’s a hold on your account. For help, call StarHelp at (714) 808-4679 or email starhelp@noce.edu. |
