On Tuesday, March 5, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., NOCE will host the Power Up Resource Fair for current and new students.
The event will be held at the NOCE Cypress Center – Building 18 and TEII (Parking Lot 4). The purpose of the resource fair is to engage students and community members with support, services, and to promote registration and transition. Some of the partners and programs participating in the Power Up Resource Fair include (but are not limited to):
- Free health screenings: blood pressure, thyroid, glucose, and cholesterol
- Get a FREE cellphone or tablet*
- Pick up FREE diapers
- Learn how to transition to Cypress College
- Apply for ongoing food support*
- Connect with legal services
- Chat about mental health resources
- Register for tuition-free and college courses
- Learn about Cypress College student services
*Income eligibility is required for some services.
Students will be able to get a FREE cell phone or tablet*, pick up free diapers, apply for ongoing food support through CalFresh*, connect with legal services, chat about mental health resources, learn about job opportunities, and register for tuition-free courses.
