The East Lot Portables will be closed except for using classrooms in portables 100-P, 101-P, and 102-P.

The second-floor door entrances will now be open to the public, and the elevator access will be restored for all guests.

On Wednesday, September 20, 2023, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., NOCE will host the Power Up Resource Fair for current and new students.

The event will be held at the Anaheim Campus first floor (105/107, Student Center, 100B, and outside entrance parking circle). The purpose of the resource fair is to engage students and community members with support, services, and to promote registration in late start fall classes. Some of the partners and programs participating in the Power Up Resource Fair include (but are not limited to):

Community Resources: Services of America (Free Cell Phone/Tablet Program), CalFresh, Diaper Depot, Project Food Box, Pathways of Hope, US Navy, US Immigration Law Group, Legal Aid Services, and more.

NOCE: Counseling, Grads to Be (Undocumented Services), Rising Scholars (Formerly Incarcerated Services), Career Skills and Resource Center, ARISE Lab, Learning Centers, Student Technology Support Services, and NOCE instructional programs.

Students will be able to get a FREE cell phone or tablet*, pick up free diapers, apply for ongoing food support through CalFresh*, connect with legal services, chat about mental health resources, learn about job opportunities, and register for tuition-free courses. (*Income eligibility is required for some services).

NOCE was excited to welcome students back in-person to the Anaheim Campus Food Pantry, Room 156 on the first week of the 2022 Spring Semester.

In collaboration with Pathways of Hope, NOCE will provide students with non-perishable food, fresh produce, day-to-day necessities and resource information at the AC Food Pantry on:

• Tuesdays 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Students must bring their student ID, schedule bill (must be currently enrolled), and a reusable grocery bag. NOCE students are welcome to utilize the food pantries at Cypress College and Fullerton College.

NOCE’s will offer food distribution on two Fridays in December on 12/3 and 12/17.

The NOCE campuses will be closed from 12/23 – 1/2/22 for the winter holiday. The first food distribution of 2022 at the Anaheim Campus will be on January 18, 2022.

As an added bonus, students who come through the Anaheim Campus food drive distribution will also receive a #wearenoce t-shirt. 

Students will be referred to two resources as an alternative source for food distribution, Cypress College and Pathways of Hope.
